Acoustic light version but very effective. The album comes as a six panel digipak and a 20 page booklet. Interesting to see that he includes this classic as late as 2012. He’s also done it live together with a cover of “Too Much Monkey Business”. Not included here as they were not official releases.

Edward Hardin was a singer, songwriter, pianist, born 1949, died in 2015. As a solo artist he released a lot of singles and albums since the early ‘70s.
Peter York, drummer, born 1942. Has played with Eric Clapton, Brian Auger, Alexis Corner and you name it.

Country quartet. Grady was born in the heart of the Blue Ridge mountains near Sylva, North Carolina and has been playing the guitar and singing since the age of 10. The album below was recorded at Ripcord Recordings Studios in Vancouver, Washington.

HARVEY & THE WALLBANGERS (USA)
Harvey Brough, a versatile singer, guitarist, composer, arranger. The Wallbangers: a jazz/blues vocal harmony group. Band members shifted but on the album below they are in addition to Harvey: Chuck Baker (guitar), Dean Dixon (piano), Chris Wiser & Theron Sharp (saxophones), Matt Blagg (trumpet), Kevie Hazelton & Martin Butcher (bass), Mike McCarty (drums). It seems the band was active around 6 years (ending in May 1987) and released three albums (1984-1987). However, the album below means they must have had a reunion. A compilation album “Early Days” was released in 2005.

Chantal is a German classical group or instrumental-ensemble. They are also on this blog of covers list.
DAN HICKS And The Hot Licks (USA)
Daniel Ivan Hicks was born in Little Rock, Arkansas in 1941, and died in 2016 at the age of 74 in his hometown Mill Valley, California. Singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. I counted 16 albums by him spanning 1969-2017 including 5 compilations. He called his music Folk Swing.

JANICE HOYTE (UK)
Black singer who had worked at Marks & Spencer and their Social Society was behind the release of her first album (see below). A live album came out in 1977 on the SRT label and also a single on the Seismic label. In 1979 she had a single out on United Artists and later on started working behind big names like Pete Townshend (studio backing vocalist) and Bill Wyman’s Rhythm Kings (singer in the band). Another single came out in 1992.

Punk rock band from Long Beach, California, who started out in 1989. Some of the members had already been part of the L.A. punk band The Suicide Kings in the ‘80s.
